China's logistics sees improved performance as industrial upgrades support growth

China's logistics demand maintained steady growth in the first three quarters of the year, supported by industrial upgrading and resilient high-end manufacturing, official data showed Sunday. The total value of national social logistics reached 280 trillion yuan (about 41.7 trillion U.S. dollars) in the January-September period, up 4.9 percent year on year, according to data from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.
