1. Technologies we use
We use browser storage primarily to keep you signed in, remember interface preferences, and store your watchlist. Cloudflare may use security technologies to protect the site. The Google Ads tag may use cookies or online identifiers to measure visits and advertising conversions.
2. Storage inventory
| Name / category | Technology | Purpose | Typical duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ta_token | Local storage | Stores the signed-in session token so protected pages and API requests can authenticate. | Up to 7 days; removed on sign-out or clearing site data. | TradingAgents AI |
| ta-theme | Local storage | Remembers whether you selected the light or dark interface. | Until you clear site data. | TradingAgents AI |
| ta-watchlist-v1 | Local storage | Remembers the tickers in your browser-based watchlist. | Until you clear site data. | TradingAgents AI |
| Google Ads identifiers | Cookies and similar technology | Measures visits and advertising conversions and may help Google associate interactions with an ad click. | Varies by identifier; conversion-linker cookies may last up to about 90 days. | |
| Cloudflare security identifiers | Cookies | Supports bot protection, fraud prevention, load balancing, and network security where Cloudflare applies those features. | Session or short-lived unless otherwise set by Cloudflare. | Cloudflare |
Provider names and durations may change. Your browser, extensions, security software, Google account settings, and our service providers may create additional identifiers not listed here.
3. Google Ads and measurement
We load a Google tag with the identifier AW-18536514322 to measure advertising and site conversions. Google may receive the page you visit, device and browser details, approximate location derived from IP, interactions, and cookie or online identifiers. Google may use this information under its own terms and privacy policy.
You can limit personalized advertising through Google’s Ads Settings, block third-party cookies, or use privacy controls supplied by your browser or device. Blocking the Google tag does not prevent you from using the core account and research features.
4. Why we use these technologies
- Strictly necessary: authentication, security, load balancing, fraud prevention, and request routing.
- Preferences: theme and watchlist choices.
- Measurement: understanding visits and advertising conversions through Google Ads.
Some browsers, devices, advertising settings, or regional controls may limit measurement technologies. Blocking non-essential storage does not prevent account authentication from working unless you block all site storage.
5. How to control cookies and storage
You can delete or block cookies and site data through your browser settings. Clearing local storage signs you out and removes locally stored theme and watchlist preferences. Blocking all site data may prevent sign-in or other features from working.
Common browser controls are available under “Privacy,” “Security,” “Cookies and site data,” or similar settings. Private browsing may clear data when the session ends. Google’s advertising controls are available at Google My Ad Center.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when storage, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top shows the current version. Questions may be sent to support@tradingagents.dev.
